My Journey to Optimal Performance (On and Off the Range) - By Marcee

Dear Performance Journal,

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my journey towards reaching my goals in my shooting sports. As I lace up my running shoes and head out for my morning warm-up, excitement and determination pulse through my veins. It's not just about hitting targets anymore; it's about pushing myself beyond limits, both physically and mentally.

Morning Warm-Up: I started my day with dynamic stretches, feeling the tension release from my muscles as I prepared for the challenges ahead. Each stretch is a reminder of the dedication required to succeed to reach my personal goals.

Strength Training: With my Brute Force sandbags and 5.11 plate carrier in tow, I dove into my strength training routine. I performed an AMRAP of squats and push-ups for 20 minutes followed by a 30 minute walk.

Dry Fire Practice: As the sun rose higher in the sky, I transitioned to dry fire practice. I practiced techniques learned over the years from instructors like Max Michel, JJ Racaza, and Rob Epifania. I worked on my draw, reloads, transitions and trigger control, for a total of about 45 minutes.

Reflection: As I cool down and stretch, I take a moment to reflect on the day's accomplishments and began writing in my shooting journal. Each rep, each trigger pull, and each stride brings me one step closer to my goals. The journey ahead may be challenging, but I'm ready to embrace the grind and emerge stronger, both on and off the range.

My Supplementation: In my quest for optimal performance, I turned to 1st Phorm supplements to complement my nutrition goals. A protein shake post-workout replenishes my muscles, while a multivitamin ensures my body receives the essential nutrients it needs to thrive. With each sip, I feel empowered, knowing that I'm giving my body the fuel it needs to excel. https://1stphorm.com/marceefinn

Looking Ahead: As I conclude this first week of my journey, I'm filled with a sense of anticipation for what lies ahead. The road to peak performance is long and winding, but I'm committed to every step of the way. With each passing day, I'll continue to push myself, refine my skills, and strive for greatness in the world of shooting.

Until next time,

XO -Marcee
